Missouri's Secretary of State forms the company and then asks for no yearly report of any kind: the sheet carries both the report fee and its due date as verified absences, checked against the office. No recurring entity tax applies either. The office sells no expedited lane, though its page notes that many online filings process immediately after submission.
The fictitious name is a state filing with a set term that creates no substantive rights; it also sits outside the entity name screen, so it neither blocks a later name nor is blocked by one. The company may not serve as its own registered agent, a researched refusal with its citation. A resident individual may hold the seat.

Missouri calls it the fictitious name, and keeps one statewide register for it. The state filing costs $7.
5 years
A fictitious name registration is effective for five years and is renewed for successive five-year terms.
not required
no exclusive right
Missouri law is explicit that registering a fictitious name creates no substantive rights and gives no exclusive claim to the name; it is a disclosure filing only. It is also separate from the entity-name distinguishability records, so a fictitious name neither blocks nor is blocked by names in the corporations index.
Fictitious names are searchable in the Secretary of State's business search alongside entities, but because the registration confers no rights, finding one does not by itself stop another owner from registering the same fictitious name.

Registering an LLC formed elsewhere is its own filing in Missouri. The registration costs $105. That price belongs to a separate filing event, so it enters no cost total on this site.
$105
Flat $105.00 filing fee for the Application for Registration of a Foreign Limited Liability Company (LLC 4): the Schedule of Fees prices 'Certificates of Limited Liability Company (domestic/foreign)(paper)' at $105.00 and the form itself is submitted with a $105.00 filing fee. The $50.00 online row on the same schedule is domestic only, and the schedule states that electronic payments add a convenience fee the State of Missouri does not collect or retain.

Maintain a registered agent with a Missouri street address: the Secretary of State is appointed agent for service of process if the company fails to maintain one, and that failure is grounds to cancel the foreign registration.

The same fee for every other jurisdiction sits on one page: foreign qualification fees for every jurisdiction.
Who may serve as an LLC's registered agent is its own rule in Missouri. Missouri lets a natural person serve, so no commercial agent is required. The LLC itself may not hold the seat, which is a separate question.

Every figure on this sheet renders from the pinned dataset snapshot, and each card links the page its own figure came from. This list collects those pages in one place, with the duplicates removed and the agency named.
The rule behind every figure here, and what a card does when one cannot be verified, sits on how a figure gets verified.
