Nebraska's report cycle is biennial, due at the start of April in odd-numbered years rather than annually. The record shows neither a recurring entity tax nor an expedited lane nor a published standard time, each absence checked against the office. Formation itself is filed with the Secretary of State.
The trade name carries the sharpest rule on this sheet: after registration it must run once in a local newspaper, and proof of that publication must come back to the office by a stated deadline or the registration is cancelled. A registered trade name also enters the entity name screen and blocks deceptively similar later names. An individual resident may take the agent seat, and the company may hold it itself.

Nebraska calls it the trade name, and keeps one statewide register for it. The state filing costs $100.
10 years
A trade name registration runs ten years from the date of registration and may be renewed for successive ten-year terms, but the renewal application must be filed in duplicate within the six months before the term expires, with a $110 written or $100 electronic renewal fee and a statement that the name is still in use (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 87-211). The Secretary of State writes to the registrant's last known address during the year before expiry.
required
The registrant must publish the duplicate of the registration once in a newspaper of general circulation published in the city or village where the business is to be located, or, if there is no newspaper there, in a newspaper of general circulation in the county, and file proof of publication with the Secretary of State within 45 days of the date of registration. If the proof is not filed within those 45 days, the Secretary of State cancels the registration (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 87-219).
no exclusive right
Nebraska folds registered trade names into the LLC name screen, so an active trade name blocks later entity names that are the same as or deceptively similar to it (§ 21-108), and § 87-209(6) bars registering a trade name that so resembles a registered trade name or an entity name on file as to be likely to cause confusion, mistake, or deception, unless the affected entity consents in writing and the consent is filed. A holder of an existing registration also gets a cancellation route: under § 87-219.01 it may protest a new registration within 60 days of that name's publication, and the Secretary of State cancels the new name if it violates § 87-209. The registration is still a public claim rather than a trademark, and ownership ultimately turns on actual use under common law.
Registered trade names appear in the Secretary of State's corporate and business name search.

Registering an LLC formed elsewhere is its own filing in Nebraska. The registration costs $100. That price belongs to a separate filing event, so it enters no cost total on this site.
$100
Flat $100.00 electronic filing fee for an application for a certificate of authority as a foreign limited liability company (Neb. Rev. Stat. Sec. 21-192(1)(a)); paper filing costs $110.00, so the electronic figure is the common path.

Who may serve as an LLC's registered agent is its own rule in Nebraska. Nebraska lets a natural person serve, so no commercial agent is required. The LLC itself may also hold the seat.

Every figure on this sheet renders from the pinned dataset snapshot, and each card links the page its own figure came from. This list collects those pages in one place, with the duplicates removed and the agency named.
The rule behind every figure here, and what a card does when one cannot be verified, sits on how a figure gets verified.
